The Health Adventure now offers various programs for older adults at our new Biltmore Square Mall location. These programs are offered on Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 8:30am – 9:00am* and are free for members or with paid admission.

Mmm Good! Mondays:

Why is healthy eating so important to older adults? Get the facts, share ideas and learn how to make tasty, nutritious dishes using only a microwave or toaster oven!

Tai Chi Tuesdays

Join our Tai Chi for Arthritis certified educators in some gentle exercise with multiple benefits. Tai Chi has been shown to reduce the risk of falling in older adults, improve muscle strength & flexibility and help calm & focus the brain. All ages and stages welcome – the nature of Tai Chi is to move slowly.

Fit Fridays

Chair exercise classes include strength, balance, flexibility and endurance training based on exercise components from the National Institute on Aging and the “Matter of Balance” fall prevention program. Come every Friday and make a commitment to keep fit!
