The Health Adventure, Asheville�s Family Health & Science Museum, is pleased to announce its seventh annual Fall Gala, Cocktails & Kaleidoscopes, will be held September 30 at the new Asheville Chamber of Commerce. Taking place from 7 p.m. until 11 p.m. at the Atrium of the Asheville Chamber of Commerce in the heart of downtown, the event is the museum�s largest fundraiser of the year. Attendees will enjoy a dinner of fresh local flavors prepared by 28806 Deli and will have the opportunity to win incredible packages during the event�s live and silent auctions. Tickets to the black-tie-optional event will also include an open host bar and live entertainment by the Brevard Jazz Ensemble. �We chose the theme Cocktails & Kaleidoscopes in honor of our current traveling exhibit, Flip It, Fold It, Figure It Out,� said President & CEO Paige Johnson. �We are excited to share the exhibit�s educational message at our largest fundraiser: math is important and vital to our lives. We use math everyday to create and appreciate, and guests at our gala will have a chance to learn how a fun evening � from live music and great food to kaleidoscope art � relies upon math.�
