Don't Miss Rainforest ALIVE!
There's still time for you and your family to head
to The Health Adventure for a tropical rainforest journey! Rainforest
ALIVE!, an exhibit developed by the Catawba Science Center, is open
at The Health Adventure through May 28. Bring your family to explore 1,800
square feet chock full of the sights and sounds of a semi-tropical
rainforest.
A path festooned with vines and vegetation winds
through habitats featuring animals native to the rainforest. You and your
family can discover the power of a poison dart frog, find out how a fruit
bat's 'sweet tooth' helps and rainforest grow, and see if a tomato frog
really lives up to its name. It's an adventure you won't want to miss!
