appliances to see how they work, visit Mission Hospital to discover the
world of microbiology, build a robot, test water in a local stream, and
unearth the science used for recycling. Throughout the week, lab
experiments at The Health Adventure and UNCA will be combined with field

Silliness is serious business when it comes to

driving our new Humor is Healthy campaign, which kicks off on April Fool's
Day at the museum.
The Health Adventure brings laughter to the
community through outreach programs, Clown Troupe appearances, workshops
and shows--all to raise awareness about the importance humor plays in
health and wellness. As an official kick-off to the campaign, the Clown
Troupe will be on hand to entertain families with face-painting, gags and
gimmicks. From cheerful chuckles to gut-busting guffaws, it will be a
morning of madcap merriment!

Guests will also have the
opportunity to learn more about our Humor is Healthy campaign and the
museum's Red Nose Society, a newly formedgiving societyfor those who
value humor in daily life and support The Health Adventure'sdedication to
humor and wellness.
