Sibling Class & Tour

  A special program to help older children understand, accept, and anticipate the changes that will happen as the family prepares for the birth of the new baby. Each child will:

•  See and hold life-like models that show how a baby grows and develops
• Make a kite mobile for the new baby's room
• Receive an activity/coloring book that encourages the older child to explore and express feelings about the new baby
• Tour the Mother/Baby Unit at Mission Hospital to see where mom and baby will stay

Children should be accompanied by an adult.

WHEN: Mondays from 4 to 5 PM
WHERE: Mission Hospital (enter the hospital at the visitor entrance off Biltmore Avenure. Take G elevators to the 4th floor)
WHO: Children ages 3 to 8 years old (children over the age of 8 may attend the adult tour with their parent/s)
