Exploration Celebration - Ages 6 - 10

Select one of the following 90-minute options: 

Private Party: Enjoy the party room for 90 minutes and explore the museum on your own for the day.
Cost is $75.00 for members and $100 for non-members.

Shocking Moments in Science: Discover the magic of science with an electrifying 15-minute show. Watch your hair stand up on end and observe lightening up close! Enjoy the party room for one hour and fifteen minutes.
Cost is $125 for members and $150 for non-members.

Interactive Birthday Bash: Your zany science guide will lead a 30-minute craft program. Hands-on fun, plus stuff to take home! Celebrate for one hour in the party room.
Cost is $150 for members and $175 for non-members.

Robotics - Ages 8 - 10

Children ages 8 through 10 can bring machinery to life in this hands-on, 45-minute creative party. From wheels to body design, YOU are in control! Enjoy 45 minutes in the party room.
Cost is $175 for members and $200 for non-members.

For reservations, call (828) 254-6373 ext. 306. Please give a minimum of 2 weeks advance notice. A 50% deposit is needed to confirm all reservations.

We require one adult chaperone for every three children. You are responsible for your guests from the time they enter the museum until they leave. Thank you for making sure all guests in your party are well chaperoned both in the party room and in the museum. 

All birthday party prices include museum admission for up to 20 children. We provide the party room decorated with balloons, a birthday banner, and colorful tablecloths, and a gift bag for the birthday child from our museum store. The parent(s) are responsible for providing a cake and other refreshments, paper products, and other party favors or decorations as desired.

Available times are on Saturdays from 10:30 until 12 noon, 2:30 PM until 4:00 PM, and Sundays from 2:30 until 4:00 PM.
