dsc_0158.jpgGuests enter the Nutrispace Gallery through a giant floor model of a lower jaw and teeth and a 750-pound suspended upper jaw, where you can use a giant toothbrush to practice the healthy habits of brushing and flossing.  Inside, guests will be amazed to see how much fat, salt and sugar the typical American consumes each year and learn ways to improve on healthy eating choices. While adults see how their daily fiber intake measures up, children are captivated by the child-sized grocery store where they can practice shopping for healthy foods, guided by the USDA Food Guide Pyramid. Adults will find answers to such questions as: What is a “serving size” in reality?  What is Folic Acid and why is it important?  Guests can also see the amounts of sugar, salt, & fat in some popular foods (a few shocking surprises are probably in store) and enjoy a film on “Nutrition 101.”
