With my membership card, can I come as often as I’d like? Absolutely! We hope you and your family visit often to explore our 12,000 square feet of fun! If I forget my membership card, can I still get in? Yes, but we may ask you to show a valid ID with a name that matches the name listed on your membership card. How many children does a membership include? Your membership reflects the number of children stated on your membership application at the time of purchase. You will be asked to purchase tickets for additional children (or more children than stated on your card) — such as neighbors and relatives who visit The Health Adventure with you. How many adults does a membership include? Memberships at the Family/Grandparent level and above allow for two adults (as listed on your membership card) to be members. If you have a Family membership, you can add one additional adult (caregiver) simply by giving us their name and paying an additional $15. Can I loan my membership card to a close family friend or neighbor? Your membership is for you and your family, and as a non-profit we ask that you respect that. At the Family Plus membership level ($100), eight one-time guest passes are included with the membership. These passes are a great way to share The Health Adventure with friends and family who enjoy the museum, or out of town guests who may want to spend the day with you here. Loaning out a card to someone not listed on the membership is not allowed. I lost my membership card. What do I do? Please call the Membership office at 254-6373, Ext. 332 to request a replacement card. There is a $5 fee to print a replacement membership card. How often are Member events? Member events are help at various dates throughout the year...whenever we have a special reason to celebrate! Do I need to R.S.V.P. for Member Events? In most cases we ask that you R.S.V.P. for member events. Knowing how many people plan to attend helps us plan for the proper amount of food and adequate staffing. Please look at your invitation carefully and if requested to do so, call the R.S.V.P. line. What is the ASTC Passport Program? The ASTC Passport Program allows you and your family to receive free admission at science centers and museums around the world. As a member of the Association of Science-Technology Centers, The Health Adventure is one of nearly 300 museums in over 12 countries participating in the program. To receive free admission at an out-of-town science center or museum, you’ll need to take your membership card from The Health Adventure. You may also be asked to show a photo ID. There are a couple of caveats—the program doesn’t apply to centers within a 90-mile radius of home. Also, free general admission typically does not include tickets to things such as giant-screen theaters, planetarium shows or simulators. How do I find out which museums are members of the Passport Program? When you join The Health Adventure or renew your membership, you will receive a list of participating museums. You can also access the list by visiting www.astc.org/passport. If you have any other questions about your membership, please contact the Membership Associate . |
