Special BODY WORLDS Program at The Health Adventure

The Health Adventure, Ashevilles Family Health & Science Attraction, will present a special firsthand experience of the popular BODY WORLDS exhibit on October 6 from 1 to 4 p.m.

Join Ron Gollberg, M.D., for this special program that will feature a BODY WORLDS specimen, Male Torso with Situs Inversus. This specimen shows the rare anatomical variation that is only seen in approximately 1 in 25,000 individuals. Dr. Gollberg will be available to answer questions about the exhibit, as well as speak about the future of medical education through concepts such as Plastination.

The exhibit and program will be located in one of The Health Adventures private classrooms, and is free for members or with museum admission.

This exclusive one-day program is an excellent opportunity for visitors to learn more about the BODY WORLDS exhibit, said Jim Taylor, vice president of programs and exhibits at The Health Adventure. The program will show guests what they can expect to see and learn at the full exhibit.
