Time is Running Out for "Little Builders"

Don't miss our popular feature exhibit: "Little Builders."

Construction continues outside - and inside - Pack Place as "Little Builders," our feature exhibit is in full swing. Many visiting 'contractors' of all ages join us to test their skills.�Come don a hard hat and explore concepts of construction, motion, and simple machines as you and your children engage in some of the best days of their�lives!� The exhibit will be on display until May 6.

SPECIAL EVENT:� ENGINEER IT! - April 21 at 11:00 AM

Explore what your family can build with 12 paper towel tubes, seven shoe boxes, one newspaper and two feet if masking tape.� Experiment with engineering by building structures with ever day objects.� Materials provided by The Health Adventure!

Family Days are free for members or with museum admission.

 


The Weather is Always Nice at The Health Adventure!

Our summer blockbuster exhibit, "Magic School Bus Kicks Up A Storm," opens May 26 in the Turner New Adventures Gallery.� Don't miss your chance to experience this popular hands-on exhibit based on the beloved children's series.� This feature exhibit will be with us through September 23, 2007.

Feature Class - "Folding Frenzy!"

Origami enthusiasts of all levels are encouraged to mark your calendars for�this fabulous class offered on the second Wednesday of each month from 4:00 p.m.�to 5:00 p.m.� Become a regular "four o'clock folder" and learn new folds, share favorites and meet fellow origami enthusiasts! Paper is for sale in our store, or you may bring your own.

 

Fridays are Fabulous at The Health Adventure!
Join us on May 4 for our popular Fabulous Fridays class - great for children ages 3 to 6.

This month's class is "A is for Animal." Insects, frogs and even worms can help us learn about the world around us. Meet our in-house animals up close and personal on our animal day as we make rubbings and artwork to take home.

Classes are held from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Call to pre-register and pre-pay by calling 254-6373, Ext. 329.

Parents, grandparents and caregivers are admitted FREE - a great opportunity to foster family relationships!
