Get Foolish - Just in Time for April Fool's
Day!
Enjoy a day of family fun for everyone at The
Health Adventure�s Clown Show on Saturday, March 24 at 10:30 a.m. New
skits, songs, face painting and general clowning around are all part of
this exciting day for children and families.
The annual show is performed by The Health Adventure�s Clown Troupe,
which is made up of professional volunteers and recent Clown Workshop
graduate interns who raise funds in support of The Health Adventure�s
programs and exhibits.
Pre-registration for this popular event is required, by calling (828)
254-6373, Ext. 300. Admission is $5 per person.

Don't Miss Our Popular Feature Exhibit:
"Little Builders"
Hammers are swinging outside � and inside � Pack
Place as "Little Builders," The Health Adventure's new traveling exhibit
gets into high gear.
Donning little hard hats and construction vests, children ages 2
through 7 will create, play and learn as they explore the concepts of
construction, motion and simple machines. The exhibit will be on display
through May 6.
SPECIAL EVENT: ENGINEER IT! - April 21 at 11:00 a.m.
Explore what your family can build with 12 paper towel tubes, seven
shoe boxes, one newspaper and two feet of masking tape. Experiment with
engineering by building structures with everyday objects. Materials
provided by The Health Adventure!
Family Days are free for members or with museum admission.

The weather is always nice at The Health Adventure! Join us for an
exciting lineup of events:
- Everyone has an inner clown - what's yours? Find out at our popular
Clown Workshop for Adults, a six-week intensive series beginning April 3 -
just in time for April Fool's Day! To register or for more information,

- Our summer blockbuster exhibit, Magic School Bus Kicks Up a Storm,
opens May 26 in the Turner New Adventures gallery. Don't miss your chance
to experience this popular hands-on exhibit based on the beloved
children's series, through September 23, 2007.
- Origami Folding Frenzy! Become a regular "four o'clock folder" at
The Health Adventure! Join us from 4 p.m. until 5 p.m. on the second
Wednesday of each month to learn new folds, share favorites and meet
fellow origami enthusiasts. All levels are welcome! Paper is for sale at
our museum store, or bring your own!
