Founded in 1968 by the Buncombe County Medical Society Auxiliary – also known as our Founding Mothers – The Health Adventure was one of the first health education centers of its kind in the country. We still offer our award-winning educational experiences to school groups, families, educators, and more! We encourage you to come in and see for yourself!
